Jesus Christ - Woody Guthrie: Jesus Died, Rose from Dead, & Lives

Jesus is not Just Living: He is Life!
 5Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
 6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
 7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. (John 14:5-7, King James Version)

It's hard to get the head around for some - that Jesus is alive today - literally, bodily, spiritually - any way our limited understanding can think upon it. Yes he was crucified! Yes he died - and suffered the shame, humiliation, spite etc - besides the pure bodily agony of being nailed to the cross.
 The gospel, by the grace of God, our unimaginably loving Father in heaven, is the good news of a living God, and his living Son, Jesus.

 33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
 34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
 35For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: (Matthew 25:33-35, King James Version)

 1And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
 2And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
 3And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
 4And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
 5And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
 6And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
 7And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
 8And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
 9And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
 10And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
 11And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
 12Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
 13And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
 14And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever. (Revelation 5, King James Version)

The Lord Jesus, beloved Son of God; Blessed Lamb of God; is alive at this moment - in heaven along side his/our magnificent heavenl;y Father - blessing and honour, and glory and power be to God and Jesus for ever and ever.
 What is the point of this blog post? Simple - if you have this faith and understanding, then peace and grace to you, in the name of the Lord Jesus. If you do not believe/feel/experience the living presence of our beautiful Saviour Jesus - then you can do so today in simplicity. The living presence of our Lord Christ, and of our blessed Father, God, comes in to the heart of a living soul who humbly asks - like a child.

The holy Spirit is the living Spirit of Lord God and Lord Jesus. We may imagine the future; we may hear christians speak of the Lord Christ coming again - but what about now? What about today? Where is God, and where is Jesus? Are they living, or dead? Are they alive in our own hearts? How do we know.....? Perhaps if we consider ourselves for a moment in the pure here and now; And consider to what degree we feel the fruit of the Spirit within our heart:
 21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
 23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:21-23, King James Version)

God bless you today in his living presence, and in the name of his beloved Son, the Christ Jesus
